For Children

We offer a variety of books and programs for children of all ages!

Programs and services for children include:

Weekly Story Hour

Fridays 10:15am - 11:15am (September through May)

Infants to Preschoolers

Parents, Grandparents and Caregivers are welcome to stay!

In lower level - elevator available for strollers!

After School Programming

Various programs are offered during the school year for Kindergarten to 6th grade students.

Special programs are held during Children's Book Week (November),

Dr. Seuss' birthday, and selected holidays!

Summer Reading Programs

Coming in June 2008: Catch the Reading Bug!

DVDs and Videos

Reading Counts Computer

(in conjunction with the Elementary School)

All Reading Counts books are marked with the color coordinating dot for that reading level:

RED ~ Kindergarten & 1st grade
BLUE ~ 2nd grade
YELLOW ~ 3rd grade
GREEN ~ 4th grade
ORANGE ~ 5th grade
PURPLE ~ 6th grade

We provide baskets of books to many school classrooms and the local daycares to enjoy for a 1-month period.
