Borrow from another library

Our library is connected to other libraries throughout the state and nation. If you can't find an item in this library, ask library staff to help you get it from another library.

We are happy to try to get items for you from another library.  Please fill out the request form on this Web site (CLICK HERE) or fill one out at the circulation desk at the library.

Requesting an Inter-library Loan:

  • Patrons may request to have an item inter-library loaned.  The staff may also make this suggestion if the specific item is in found within the Clarksville Library.
  • There is no fee for this service.
  • The lending library will set the due date for the loaned item--usually 3 to 4 weeks.  They will also be the one to determined if the item may be renewed.
  • If the item is not picked up within 1-week after notification (or other arrangements made with the library staff), the item will be returned to the lending library.
  • Please note, newer items tend to be harder to receive through ILL as they are being used in there home library!

*If we don't have it, we'll do our best to help you find it!!!
